CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION

 

 

Aims and Scope

The workshop objective is to present and discuss current trends and achievements in the field of the knowledge technologies applications, focusing on the Semantic web tools, systems and services.

The workshop will present the work in the current European project under the FP6 programme Specific Support Actions: Contract No. INCO-CT-2003-003401 HUBUSKA “Networking Centres of High Quality Research on Knowledge Technologies and Applications”.

 

The workshop also invites submissions about current developments of intelligent computer systems applying the methods and instruments of knowledge management and processing.

 

Topics

The workshop topics include but are not limited to:

·         Semantic web approaches to organisation, access, processing and use of context-sensitive information

·         Semantic Web tools, systems and services

·         Multi-agent applications

·         Intelligent content creation, management and use

·         Knowledge management and processing

·         Intelligent eLearning applications

 

Paper submission

Papers should be submitted electronically to dochev@iinf.bas.bg in MS WORD format. Papers should be written in English and should be no more than 15 pages  (including figures) in Times New Roman font, size 12pt, single line spacing. The first page should contain the title of paper, names and addresses of all authors (including e-mail) and an abstract
(100-150 words). A sample Word template file can be downloaded from here.

The Proceedings of the workshop will be published.

Venue

HUBUSKA Open Workshop on  Knowledge technologies applications and the semantic web will be held with the 12th International Conference AIMSA 2006 - Artificial Intelligence: Methodology, Systems, Applications - AI, People and The Web, Varna, 13-15 September 2006  www.aimsaconferene.org. The partners in HUBUSKA project may also attend the conference AIMSA 2006.

Both events will take place at the Sunny Day Tourist Complex.
